The Business Development Manager role is perfect for someone who desires to assist our top producing real estate team in building and creating new business in a fun and fast paced environment. You must be charismatic, likable, and easy to connect with quickly- while also holding the skills to multi-task and manage many day to day details, systems, and people. If you have experience in the real estate, mortgage, or insurance industry, the Inside Sales Agent Career would be a great fit- although industry specific experience is not required.

You will prospect for and acquire new clients daily from various inbound and outbound lead sources provided by the Ed Huck Team. The Business Development Manager will assist in all aspects of the process of prospecting, cultivating, setting appointments and managing leads in our contact management database system. The Business Development Manager will obtain critical information about buyer / seller leads and schedule appointments with qualified leads for the Listing and/or Buyer Specialists. The Ed Huck Team provides all training necessary to successfully perform in the Business Development Manager position, and you must have or be willing to obtain your Ohio Real Estate License.

Extremely competitive Year 1 compensation, 40% higher than industry standard.

High Performer Key Activities of a Business Development Manager

  1. Practice, memorize and internalize scripts at least 2 to 4 hours /week.
  2. Work a pre-planned 30-40 hour work week.
  3. Prospect for new clients on a daily basis at least 3 hours/day.
  4. Make 100-150 contacts per week calling on:
  • Expired/For Sale By Owner listings
  • Buyers
  • Sphere of Influence
  • Past Clients / Database
  • Just Listed / Just Sold
  • Open Houses
  • Door Knocking
  • Various other sources
  1. Conduct 10 to 20 hours of lead follow-up per week.
  2. Manage 50+ NEW leads each week and work through existing leads to convert into 8-10+ buying and/or listing appointments weekly.
  3. Manage contact database system.
  4. Call past clients and your sphere of influence to ask for referrals.
  5. Willing to be held accountable for goals/results.
  6. Attend team training meetings and establish daily role-play partners.
  7. Track weekly goals and progress.
  8. Measure lead conversion ratio and meet performance benchmarks.
